Regulatory Support
Our specialism and expertise is working with Sipp operators helping them meet the requirements laid down by the Financial Conduct Authority. Consequently the regulatory support outlined below is only applicable to Sipp operators.
Ongoing support
Our regulatory support usually takes the form of an ongoing compliance support service which commences with an initial three-day onsite review to really get to know the firm from which a detailed gap-analysis report is produced for discussion with the firm's senior management. Thereafter the service includes provision of a compliance 'infrastructure' comprising procedures & templates to aid with FCA compliance as well a compliance 'help-desk', regulatory updates, staff briefing material (for delivery by the firm) and further regular onsite reviews, usually every six months.
Our aim is to work collaboratively with our clients; we view this service as acting as a 'pseudo non-executive director' where we can work alongside the firm to provide guidance to maintain compliance with and react to changes in the FCA's requirements.
One-off support
We can also help with one-off projects whether this is conducting a regulatory 'healthcheck', a due-diligence exercise on an acquisition target, helping prepare for a regulatory visit or assisting with regulatory remedial action.
